OS X iSync
Some time ago I wrote about the dysfunctional SyncServer process on my Mac. Well, it's still not working. The "do not sync this computer" setting in iSync was lost when my Mac came back from repairs and the sync server process was running again, eating up CPU time.
So I switched this off again in iSync and everything is fine. I have the feeling that this happens to people who do not have a .Mac account. And yes, I am convinced that this is not intentional.
Update 2006-09-27: I filed a bug with Apple regarding this (Id 4752700) at the Apple bug reporter. For some reason, you need a Apple developer login for that.
